In early 2013, there are some street painting are started at the back lane parallel to Jalan Sultan Iskandar dan Jalan Masjid. There was a series of mural paiting by Eric Lai and his art student. Eric Lai run an art school Artgene Studio at Bercham, His earlier four mural has cultural theme but his last three mural art were children acivities. Undoubtedly these scene are depicted a time. Lai's interest stems for his youth when his mother used to create images on the wall of their house.
The first mural painting that are famous on social media and tradisional media was Lion Dance near the junction Jalan Datuk Onn Jaafar. It has total 10 mural art at the lane.
